• 英文摘要： In 1978,Professor Acheson J. Duncan extended the study of the economic design of a control chartto the situation of np-charts. Duncan's minimization procedure to get the optimum designs of np-chartsis rather complicated. This paper presents a simple minimization procedure to get the optimum designs ofnp-charts, which is implementable in real time on a personal computer, for Duncan's model. The resultsand the computer times of all numerical examples show that our minimization procedure is accurate andefficient.
