- 中文摘要: 本研究主要在於發展一改良電偶極模型非侵入定位方法來定位癲癇焦點;在頭顱模型方面,本研究利用三度空間定位儀量測出貼附在頭顱表面電極的正確位置。應用李文伯格-馬奎德非線性最佳化演算法於電偶極的定位上,另外,為了使最佳化演算法收斂到正確位置,則利用奇異值分解法擷取腦波中的主要棘波成份,並且以三度空間拓蹼映射求取最佳化定位的初始位置。本研究比較不同的電極組態,包含標準10-20電極、顳葉加強電極、侵入式蝶骨插針電極等的定位結果“最後實驗結果證明,利用顳葉加強電極可提供與侵入式蝶骨插針電極相同的定位效果,並且可以區分來自近中顳葉或顳葉的癲癇焦點。
- 英文摘要: Improved methods for noninvasive localization of an epileptic focus, modeled as an electrical dipole,are developed in this research. For the head geometrical model, a three-dimensional (3-D) electromagnetictracking system is utilized to measure the exact positions of electrodes. A nonlinear optimization technique,the Levenberg-Marquardt method, is adopted for dipole localization. For the optimization algorithm toconverge to correct solution, the singular value decomposition (SVD) technique is used to extract thedominant component of the EEG spike for initial estimation and dipole localization. The localization resultsof varied montages, including standard 10-20 electrodes and enhanced temporal electrodes, with or withoutinvasive sphenoid electrodes, are compared. Our experimental results indicate that dipole localizationwith enhanced temporal electrodes can be used as an alternative for the invasive sphenoid electrodes todifferentiate the epileptogenic foci of mesio-temporal area from temporal convexity.
