Two-phase non-Newtonian liquid flow between parallel plates or inside circular
pipes has been studied. Three empirical models, Bingham, Ellis and the power-law
models, have been discussed. The velocity profiles in every model are represented. The
effects of pressure gradient, material constants and geometrical dimensions on the
volumetric flow rates and the velocity profiles of both phases are discussed with
accompanying numerical examples. All results from non-Newtonian models can be
