- 英文摘要: The Patel-Teja equation of state, rather than an activity coefficient model, was applied in this present study towards solid-liquid equilibrium calculation for a variety of binary systems. With a constant cross parameter of k/sub aij/, the equation yielded satisfactory results for the solid solubility of nonpolar systems, whereas a temperature dependent k/sub aij/ appeared as being necessary for the polar systems. Moreover, the equation of state with two temperature-specific cross parameters of k/sub aij/ and k/sub bij/ accurately reproduced the isotherms of the solid solubilities at elevated pressures.
