子宮頸癌是臺灣地區婦女因癌病致命的首要原因，我們從榮民總醫院婦科病人中，選擇46位子宮頸癌病患者，測定她
們血清中的免疫複合體含量，並另取35位年齡相當的健康婦女做一對照分析。子宮頸癌患者中以臨床期別區分，則零期者7
位；第一期者19位，第二期者16位；第三期以上者4位。她們均在治療之前，以液相Clq結合分析法測定靜?血中的免疫
複合體之含量。
結果發現在正常婦女血清中免疫複合體之平均比值是27.4%，而子宮頸癌患者為49.8%（P<0.001）；其中零期者為
46.6 15.8%；第一期者為46.6 19.8%；第二期者為49.7 19.7%；第三期以上者為70.7 10.40%，子宮頸癌患者血清中免疫複合
體之含量較正常人為高，統計上具有相當之意義。
我們推測免疫複合體之存在與癌病的演進可能有密切的關係，如果未來在測定的方法上能更具靈敏性及特異性，則子
宮頸癌在診斷及追?上有很大的助益。
委 - 英文摘要： In a retrospective study in women with cervical cancer, circulating immune complex levels weremeasured by radioimmunoprecipitation with I-Clq. Sera from 46 patients with cervical cancer and 35normal controls were examined. Significantly higher levels of immune complexes were detected in cancerpatients compared with controls. Mean value of binding capacity in patients was 49.8%, and by contrast,in the controls was 27.4% (two-tail test = 0). Increases in tumor mass were associated with high levels ofcirculating immune complexes. The presence of immune complexes in circulation statistically correlatedwith disease activity, however, the assay used still had limited value for diagnosis or aiding in therapeuticdecisions. Nevertheless, the future holds promise for such uses.
