• 中文摘要： 本文首先利用經濟史料對「三七五減租」政策實施前後的租佃市場環境進行討論與比較，將減租之後租佃市場環境的變化凸顯出來，並且嘗試分析此一轉變對於農場經營效率所產生的影響；接著採用臺灣總督府殖產局於19251927以及臺灣省農林廳於1950-1951對稻作農場的普查資料，應用資料包絡法(DEA)對稻作農場的經營效率與規模效率進行實證分析。從本文實證研究的結果中發現，相對於「三七五減租」政策實施之前，減租之後無論是自耕農場或是佃耕農場的經營效率與規模效率都出現了明顯下降的情況。
• 英文摘要： This paper discusses and compares the environment of leasehold markets between pre and post 37.5%rent reduction policy in Taiwan to analyze the farms' performance. The Data Envelopment Analysis Methodis adopted to test the technical and scale efficiency of paddy farm by using official data. The results of empiricalstudy indicate that the technical and scale efficiency of both owned and rented farms declined obviously after37.5% rent reduction.
