桂竹林生長型式之研究

本文旨在研究桂竹(Phyllostachys Makino Hayata)生長之相關因子,高生長、直徑生長、竹林疏密度,並以數量化探討整個竹林之構成狀態,進而擬一適當之施業法將竹林誘導為蓄積量高的優良竹林。 竹山地區之桂竹純林已具有三百年經營歷史,堪為本省桂竹林之代表區域。本研究在竹山瑞竹即阿里山事業區第121,122林斑設立27個樣區,做上述各項調查,所得資料並經統計分析。 優良桂竹林每公頃立竹支數約12,500支,各立竹間距約0.9m,直徑分佈近乎左右對稱常態分佈,峰度39mm,桿長介於600cm~850cm之間。 以法正狀態經營桂竹林,每公頃每年擇伐相當於新生竹支數(2,715支)之4年生以上桂竹,保持每公頃總支數在12,500支左右,並使立竹分佈呈均質狀態乃為最適之施業方法。

The purpose of this study is to analyzegrowth of height and diameter of Makinobamboo in cultivated stands and their com-position in order to find out the optimumspacing and density. The Makino bamboo in Chushan area havebeen cultivated for three hundred years. It isestimated that a total of five thousand hectareswere planted by villagers in that area. InCompartment numbers 121 and 122 of Alishanworking circle, national forest of LuantaForest District, 27 plots were established. Measurements and investigations were madefor determination of growth and culm distri-bution. The results are as follows: 1. The best Makino bamboo stand should have 12, 500 culms per hectare with spacing 0.9m x 0.9m.Based on analy- ses, diameters of culms show normal distribution with the peak of 39mm while the normal distribution in height is between 600-850cm。 2 . The so-called "Normal Forest" of Makino bamboo stand can be developed by applying selective cutting with 2,715 culms per annual per hectare.
