- 中文摘要: 本研究之目的,在探求夜間間歇照明對何種大小之菸苗最為有效,以及此種有效程度是否因處理之期間長短而有差異。共用三種苗齡,四、六、八葉(不連子葉在內)。照明時間共為四種,僅八時之日照,無夜間間歇照明;除八小時日照外,每夜多加二小時之間歇照明;每夜多加三小時之間歇照明及每夜多加四小時之間歇照明。但由於試驗設備之限制,無法將三種苗齡同時處理,因而再將三種苗齡分為三個獨立試驗,試驗Ⅰ為八葉苗,試驗Ⅱ為六葉苗,試驗Ⅲ為四葉苗。 八小時之短日照,對四葉苗之開花沒有促進之影響,反之,有延遲之作用。八小時之日照處理時間愈久,延遲之作用愈明顯。 六葉昔對八小時之短日照非常敏感,同時短日對早期開花之影響,對處理時間而言,乃為獨立作用,並不受處理時間之顯著影響。 對六葉苗葉片數之影響所得結果與開花同。因菸草既經開花,則植株不克伸長,葉片隨之而少。八小時短日照之最少葉片數僅八片,而間歇照明之處理,最少者為十六片,最多者為二十一片,其植株高低之差異可知。自播種至開花日數,間歇照明者延後一個月。由此可見間歇照明之效果。 概言之,八小時之短日照在 25°C 之定溫下,對六、八葉苗之開花有促進作用,但此種作用可由夜間間歇照明予以抵消。此項研究如果與不同溫度相配合,所得結果則更便於應用,惜本所目下尚無此項設備。
- 英文摘要: A factorial experiment design consisting of day length with 4 levels and 3 levelsof duration had been used in this study. Due to limit to experimental facilities, 3seedling ages or sizes could not be put into test together, and had to be separatedinto three independent experiments, namely, experiment Ⅰ, Ⅱ, and Ⅲ. Short day length, 8-hour photoperiod, did not affect 4-leaf seedlings in the flowerinitiation. Coversely, it delayed flower initiation and was significantly differentamong three durations. Seedlings at 6-leaf size was quite sensitive to short day length. In other words,short day length was an independent factor affecting on premature flowering. Theresults obtained in node were the same as that of flower. Also, 8-leaf seedlings responsed to short day length, even though the relationshipbetween factors is much complicate. To summarize, the plants treated with short day length were different fromthose treated with interrupted night in flower initiation. Under 25°C, interruptednight could counteract the effect of short day length (8-hour) and prolonged tobaccovegetative growth as much as 30 days. Probably, it is necessary to study further on 10 and 12 leaf size, in order toknow what happens with seedlings at their transplanting age.
