- 中文摘要: 「本文探討最適宜於移動式反應器用鈾聚乙稀混台燃料之聚乙烯護套厚度,實驗步驟係將自製之燃料封閉於聚乙烯護套內,經中子照射而產生之燃料氣體分裂物用環流式低溫吸附方法捕集並以鍺(鋰)伽瑪射線偵檢儀分析核輻射氣體產物之成份及含量,氣體分裂物在聚乙烯護甲中之擴散係數經證實並非常數,其擴散現象與燃料溫度之關係均曾加以分析探討,實驗結果顯示經適當厚度之護套裝置後,鈾聚乙烯燃料在低功率反應器中子照射下、氬,氪,氙等烯有氣體分裂物已不復擴散至燃料表面,故極適合移動式反應器燃料使用條件。」
- 英文摘要: Investigation of polyethylene cladding on U-PE(Uo2+Polyethylene) fuelhas been developed to meet the requirement of being used in Mobile Educa-tional Reactor (MER). An improved technique for measuring the gas fission products by low-tem-perature adsorption with Ge (Li) detector and gamma spectrometer systemwas introduced. The diffusion coefficient of gas fission products, such as 88Kr, 87Kr, in polyethylene cladding, has been determined by this method to be 10-8 cm2/secwithin the exqeimental error The fissiong gas diffusion is stopped effecti-vely by the polyethylene cladding thicker than 146 mg/cm2. An intercomparison of the above results with additional data, obtainedfrom post-irradiation annealing process of this work,confirms that the resultsis in good agreement within the statistical error.
