- 中文摘要: 作圖是一項數學實驗裡的重要活動,它能促使學習者主動的去探討和解決相關的種種數學問題。數學的視覺化是當前數學作圖的最理想的表達方法,然而當計算設備尚未充足時,數學作圖亦能巧妙的進行。假設數學實驗的設備只具有個人電腦和軟體Derive,本文探討能夠在如此克難之環境下進行的十項數學實驗題材: 一、包絡線 二、橢圓形裡的反射 三、正方形裡的反射 四、兩圓柱體之公共部份 五、圓錐曲線的形成 六、圓的漸伸線 七、混沌現象 八、六角形套 九、極點和極 十、尺上的標記
- 英文摘要: Illustration is an important part of mathematical experiment. In order to draw a meaningfuland precise mathematical picture, the learner is led to active investigation of related properties ofthe problem. Mathematical visualization has become a reality with the assistance of the high-techequipment. Mathematical illustration, however, may take place even under the conditions oflimited computing resources. This paper discusses 10 mathematical visualization projects which aresuitable for a laboratory equipped only with a personal computer and the software "Derive". 1. enveloping curves 6. the involute of a circle 2. reflections inside an ellipse 7. chaotic behavior 3. reflections inside a square 8. nested hexagons 4. the intersection of two cylinders 9. pole and polar 5. the formation of conic sections 10. marks on a ruler
