- 中文摘要: 為了探討骨骼肌之特性,我們利用MTS材料試驗機對紐西蘭白兔之腓骨長肌,橡膠及塑膠兩種材料作測試,在麻醉全身之後,先將兔子之腓長肌解剖出來,再用Bionix858 MTS材料測試機將其被動牽引至完全斷裂為止,測試後肌肉及非生命物質之負載-變形曲線(load-deformation curve),分別繪出並加以分析。結果顯示肌肉之負載-變形曲線可以區分為四部分。第一、黏彈部分(viscoelastic);第二、顯微衰竭部分(microfailure);第三、巨觀衰竭(macro-failure);第四、肌肉斷裂及分離。此衰竭機轉的形成主要由於肌肉組織內肌凝蛋白、肌動蛋白之鍵結所造成。經由對肌肉組織顯微衰竭機轉之闡明,我們可以瞭解到正常肌肉組織之功能容量及其極限;而此種極限將可運用運動醫學及復健醫學上被動牽引之肌肉復健,以有效避免不必要之額外傷害。
- 英文摘要: To study the material properties of the skeletal muscle-tendon unit, the peroneus longus muscle ofa rabbit, rubber and plastic materials were tested with on MTS machine. After anesthesia, the peroneuslongus muscle of a rabbit was dissected out and then stretched to failure by an MTS Bionix 858 machine.The load-deformation curves of the muscle and non-biological materials were analyzed and compared. Theresults showed that the load-deformation curve of a muscle-tendon unit can be separated into 4 differentportions: first, the viscoelastic portion, which corresponds to the physiological range of motion; second,the portion of microfailure; third, the portion of macrofailure; and fourth, the portion of rupture andseparation of a muscle-tendon unit. The cause of these behaviors are explained by the presence of actin-myosin cross bridges. Elucidation of the existence of microfailure of skeletal muscle gives a good referencepoint to determine the functional capabilities and limitation of muscular tissue. This will be useful in deter-mining the beneficial effect of stretch programs in sports and rehabilitation and preventing the potentialimpact of tissue injury.
