- 英文摘要: Removal of Cu/sup +2/ and Ni/sup +2/ from wastewater by ion exchange in a liquid-solid fluidized bed is studied. The column diameter and height of the fluidized bed are 8.1 and 150cm, respectively. CuSO/sub 4//NiSO/sub 4/ solution is used as the synthetic wastewater and the resins used are Amberlite 200C. It is found that the effluent Cu/sup +2/ and Ni/sup +2/ concentrations of the fluidized bed decrease with an increase in the solids loading or liquid velocity. However, they increase as total concentration of Cu/sup +2/ and Ni/sup +2/ in the feed is increased. Moreover, the effect of the pH of the influent solution on the breakthrough curves of Cu/sup +2/ and Ni/sup +2/ is negligible. An axial dispersion model with the "analogy to chemical reaction" model are employed to satisfactorily describe the multicomponent ion exchange process in the fluidized bed. A comparison of the performance of ion exchange in the fluidized bed and the packed bed is also made in this study.
