- 中文摘要: 本研究探討台灣東北湧升流海域在冬季所採集的表層浮游動物之生化與分類組成,並由統計分析建立環境因子(包括表層水溫、硝酸鹽濃度和葉綠素濃度),浮游動物大類組成和生化組成(包括蛋白質、脂質和灰分,其中脂質細分為磷脂質、游離脂肪酸、石蠟及固醇之脂化物,固醇類和三甘油脂)間之關係。主成分分析結果發現以浮游動物之生化組成可將研究海域分為三個不同的區域,大體上各自表現了黑潮,東海大陸棚和湧升流等區域之水團特性。冬季浮游動物之大類組成則和夏季不同,並不能用來區分水團。研究結果並發現浮游動物之蛋白質含量可以用來做為浮游動物在食物鏈營養傳遞中品質(即生化組成)之良好指標。
- 英文摘要: The biochemical and faunistic compositions of surface macrozooplankton collected during a wintercruise in an upwelling system northeast of Taiwan were studied. Data on environmental variables (surfacewater temperature, N0-N nd chlorophyll α concentration), major zooplankton groups and biochemicalcompositions (protein, lipid, ash and lipid classes including phospholipids, free fatty acids, wax and sterolesters, sterols,and triacylglycerols) were examined statistically for their interrelationship. Principal com-ponent analysis of zooplankton biochemical composition revealed the existence of 3 distinctive regions,each roughly representing the Kuroshio Current, the East China Sea continental shelf and the upwelling.In an earlier study of the summer zooplankton in the area, both biochemical and faunistic results couldbe successfully used to delineate the 3 water masses. Protein content was a good indicator to express thequality (biochemical composition) of zooplankton in terms of trophic nutrient transfer.
