- 中文摘要: This report is concerned with a detailed analysis of stress wave propagationsdue to impulsive pressures acting on one end of a semi-infinite viscoelastic·rodhaving Maxwell elements in both deviatoric and dilatational components. The basic equations and the corresponding principle on which the analysis isbased are first explained;then follows a discussion on the contour integration ofthe Fourier transform for inverting the frequency domain to the time domain. In the case of single impulse, the evaluation of the complex integral is workedout step-by-step and three numerical examples covering different values of elasticand viscous constants given. In the case of successive impulses, both equal andsinusoidal ones are studied. In the concluding remarks, waves along finitelength rods are discussed:then inaddition, the use of double Fourier transform is introduced by means of an example.
