- 英文摘要: The formula for a fast computing program to calculate the neutron scattering function of a regular chain folding model of PE single crystal has been derived by means of previously counting the number of the scatterer-pairs which have the same distance between them. This program reduces the computing time by a ratio 1 to 120 for that PE of Mw=5,600 with respect to the normal program, where scatterer-pairs are calculated one by one in series. The improvement of the computing time becomes more significant for greater Mw, since the computing time of these two programs are roughly proportional to Mw and Mw/sup 2/ respectively. This improvement makes the calculation of neutron scattering function of a chain folding model of polymer single crystal available in microcomputer as IBM-PC, XT.
