- 中文摘要: 在此論文中我們研討在高能強子與強子互撞所產生之單粒子包容分佈有關的一些比度假設。軸比度(Radial Scaling)假設要求單粒子之不變橫截面(Invariant Cross Section) E(d3σ/d3p)在高能時應趨向一僅為x及p⊥之函數;大橫軸動量比度(Large p Sealing)假設則要求當p⊥ 大及p*∥=0 時E(d3σ/d3p)應趨向Pn⊥f(p⊥/√s)。由此兩比度假設,我們導得當p⊥ 大時E(d3σ/d3p)應趨向pn⊥g(x),我們稱之謂綜合比度假設(Combined Sealing Hypothesis)。利用p+p→π°+X反應中p⊥≧1.5 Gev/c之實驗結果來與綜合比度假設比較,我們得到下列之結論:(一)在X>0.2之區域中,綜台比度假設成立;(二) 在X<0.16區域,實驗數據與綜合比度假設不符。由於軸比度假設在比區域中已被證實成立,我們相信大橫軸動量比度假設在此區域中不成立。
- 英文摘要: In this paper, we study the scaling behaviors of single-particle inclusive distributions in high energy hadron-hadron collisions. Radial scaling hypothesis states that the single particle invariant cross section E(d3σ/d3p) should approach a function of x and p⊥ at high energies. Large transverse momentum scaling hypothesis states that at large p⊥ andp*∥=0, E(d3σ/d3p) should approach Pn⊥f(p⊥/√s). Combining these two scaling hypotheses, we found that E(d3σ/d3p) should approach pn⊥g(x) for large p⊥. We call it combined scaling hypothesis. We have tested this hypothesis using data on p+p→π°+X with p⊥≧1.5 Gev/c. We found that (i) The data is consistent with the combined scaling hypothesis in the region x>0.2. (ii) The data is inconsistent with the combined scaling hypothesis for the region x<0.16. Since radial scaling hypothesis has been established in this region, we expect large transverse momentum scaling hypothesis to be violated in this region.
