稻殼作為木材膠合劑填料之利用研究

將省產蓬來及在來稻殼粉碎成微細粉末作為UF, PF, RF,及PVAc 膠之填料,並與麵粉填料或不加填料者比較。在來稻殼較蓬來稻殼易於粉碎,各種粗細度之收率,以小於100網目者為最多,接近90%;大於200網目者次之,約5.5~7.5%;100~150網目者,約2.5-3.5%;150~200網目者最少,約1.0~2.5%。大於100網目者之和,約佔11%左右,無需再經細選即可作為填料,蓬來與在來稻殼粉作為填料之效果大致相同。添加稻殼粉之 UF膠,其pH值及黏度之經時變化趨勢與以麵粉為填料者甚為接近。添加20%稻殼粉作為填料之 UF 及 PF 膠,其合板膠合力均在 CNS 規格以上,與用麵粉為填料者無甚差別,添加15%稻殼粉之 UF、RF 及 PVAc 膠,行木板常溫膠合,其膠合力與添加麵粉或不加任何填料者相比,並無降低或降低甚少。

In this study, the properties of ground ricehull flour, which was used as a substitute forwheat flour filler in adhesives, were investigated.The results obtained from this study were sum-marized as follows: 1. In grinding the rice hull into fine flour,Indica type is more easier than Japonica type.Among the rice hull flours in different particlesize, the yield were around 90% of 100-mesh,2.5~3.5% of 100-150-mesh. 1.0-2.5% of150~200-mesh and 5.5~7.5% of >200-mesh.The total yield of greater than 100-mesh wasabout 11%. Yield of Japonica type was a littlemore than that of Indica type. 2. Rice hull flour passed the 100-meshscreen would be used as filler for all kinds ofadhesive in this study. The effect of rice hullflour as filler, between Japonica type and Indicatype was about the same. 3. The tendency of variation in pH andviscosity as rice hull flour mixed with UFadhesive was similar to that of wheat flour. 4. Plywood made from UF or PF adhesivemixed with 20% of rice hull flour as fillershowed satisfactory results in bonding strengthand come up to the CNS standard. Using UF,RF or PVAc adhesive mixed with 15% of ricehull flour as filler to laminate wood, bondingstrength was similar to that of wheat flour asfiller or that of without any fillers.
