中期預報之冬季地面大天氣型

科技計畫「中期預報之天氣類型法及其在電子計算機上之比擬選擇」分三年完成,第一年之著眼點為冬季型,全部研究報告因所佔篇幅太多,故分成三個主題發表,即地面圖之大天氣型分類及統計分析,高空圖之大天氣型分類及統計分析,以及天氣類型客觀法及其在電子計算機上之比擬選擇。分別由各該部份之負責人執筆撰文。 地面大天氣型包括歐亞地區經度0 ~180 之範圍,因限於資料,只根據六年之冬季(十一月至翌年三月),分成七種主型,每一主型再劃分若干副型,另外加上雙排型及混合型。超極軸高壓以軸線偏東者出現較多,單獨出現則以緯向穩定高壓較多。高壓分裂出海與其他型式相拼者,佔壓倒性之多數。低槽型、移動低壓型、以及準滯留鋒型則單獨出現者甚少,大都和它種型式結伴。颱風型可與其他任何型式相配,但在超極軸高壓控制下,顯然很少出現機會。

This is a portion of the study titled as“Research on Medium-range Weather Fore-casting in Taiwan by Weather Types and itsAnalog Selections with Computer”sponsoredby the National Science Council. The wholestudy will have been completed by the yearof 1977. And in this portion, it refers tothe classification of surface circulation pat-terns in Eurasia and northwestern Pacificregions in order to find out its significantfeatures as a basic correspondence for ma-rching to the medium-range weather forecasting. For initial analysis, reference based onsix winter-season maps (from November toMarch) is made to divide surface patternsinto seven categories as (1) over-ride pol-ar axis high pressure;(2) latitudal stablehigh pressure ; (3) toward-sea-moved highpressure;(4) low trough; (5)migritory lowpressure ; (6) qusistationary front;and (7)typhoon type. Besides, the occurrance of each patternwith its combinations, the most frequentsucceeding type and the weather associatedwith each pattern over Taiwan area are alsodiscussed respectively.
