溫度對臺灣一葉蘭生長與開花之影響

台灣一葉蘭?落葉性?山蘭花,假球莖?年更新。球莖上之花芽於春天隨氣溫之迴升而迅速伸長開花。開花後葉即展開至充分發育時,球莖肥大迅速。於海拔2200m之梅?(南投縣)及人工氣象室之13~25℃ ,自開花後約10?12星期,莖 上第四尿第五節上之芽開始花芽分化,再經7?8星期花芽便完全形成。其最適花芽形成之溫度?15?20℃, 待花芽形成 後似需較低溫度以利後期之發育,故高冷地之梅?夏秋氣溫利於花芽分化與發育。夜溫25℃以上無法花芽分化,而日/夜 溫?15/13℃及25/20℃者,多數花芽於雄蕊原體末形成前或花芽剛形成時,即夭折而死。於平地之台北,人工栽培之大 球莖花開早者,可於四月上旬花芽分化,野生之小球莖開花晚者至七月上旬才花芽分化。然平地五月下旬後之高溫,足以 抑制分化中花芽之發育,終致夭折而不能開花。綜觀台灣一葉蘭之生長習性與栽培要件,雖屬蘭科植物,實?球根花卉之 一種。其生長與開花主受溫度所左右,對光週效應似不敏感。

Pleione formosana Hayata is an alpine orchid which has an annually replaced pseudobulb and a single deciduous foliage leaf. In the highlands the warm spring weather allows the plant to sprout and anthesis. Flower initiation occurs after the leaf has fully expanded while the bulb is growing actively. From anthesis to flower initiation takes 10 to 12 weeks and 7 to 8 weeks from flower initiation to bud formation in high-land areas of Taiwan (2,200 m above sea level), as well as in phytotron at temperatures of 13-25蚓. The optimum temperature for the early stage of differentiation ranges 15-20蚓, but might be lower for later stage of development. Flower initiation cannot occur at night temperatures above 25蚓. .Bud abortion before anther formation or blasting after bud formation can occur at day/night temperature of 15/13蚓 or 25/20蚓. Flower initiation occurs in Taipei lowlands in spring and early summer, from early April through early July, when the bulb reaches a certain size. However, the developing bud may be destroyed by high temperature after late May. On the basis of its growth habit and cultural requirements, Pleione formosana is a bulbous species in the family of Orchidaceae.
