- 中文摘要: 本文報告一製備具高度方向性釔鋇銅氧超導體(YBCO)塊材之新穎製程。實驗發現所添加之二氧化鋯粉末可成為有效的成核中心,進而促進經由包晶固化過程長成之YBCO的方向性成長。經由本製程大幅具高度方向性晶粒組織之區域及優異超導特性之YBCO塊材可輕易獲致,與其他如熔融組織成長法(MTG)及淬熔組識成長法比較,本製程更具單一步驟及低處理溫度之優點。尤有甚者,在77K時,實驗顯示以往同類製程所得材料所難以避免的約瑟芬遜弱鏈效應,竟因Zr0 的添加而被有效地去除,此顯示YBCO晶粒間的契合性可經由此一製程得到大幅的改善。吾人預期在進一步地將製程參數最佳化後,本文所報告之簡易製程將可對此一材料之實際應用有相當的重要性。
- 英文摘要: This paper reports a novel process for preparing well-textured bulk Y Ba Cu 0 _δ(YBCO) super-conductors. It is found that the addition of Zr0 has been very effective in acting as the nucleation sitesfor promoting the oriented growth of superconducting YBCO during peritectic solidification. Extendedregions of well-textured YBCO grains with the superior superconducting properties of the YBCO bulkare readily obtained by a single-step melt process at much lower process temperatures, as comparedto other processes such as melt-texturing-growth (MTG) and melt-quench-melt-growth (MQMG) previ-ously reported. At 77 K, the plate-like Josephson weak-link behaviors observed in pure melt-processedYBCO have been effectively eliminated by the present method, indicating that the coherency betweenthe spherulitic superconducting YBCO grains may have been greatly improved by Zr0 additions. Itis anticipated that, with further optimizations on process parameters, the present much simplified processwill have important implications for obtaining the much desired grain structures for practical applicationsof this material.
