- 英文摘要: Five different metals, including Rh, Pt, Ni, Co, and Cu, were tested for their activities in methanol carbonylation. These metals were impregnated separately onto molecular-sieves such as X- and Y- type zeolites as well as AlPO/sub 4/-5 and SAPO-5. Among the catalysts prepared, Rh/NaX was found to be the most active one. Further studies on Rh/NaX has shown that Rh is active in non-reducing state only. Adding a second metal such as Co, Cu or Ni to Rh/NaX does not alter the yield of methyl acetate. Kinetic study under atmospheric pressure has shown that the reaction orders are 1.0, 0.3 and 0.1 with respect to methyl iodide, methanol and carbon monoxide.
