• 中文摘要： 建立明確、清楚的生涯目標可以提高生涯滿意的機會。不同生涯定位的人對於工作的選擇、工作的滿意度、對公司的忠誠度也可能有所不同，資管（Management InformationSystem, MIS）人員是八十年代以後相當活躍的一群，再者以其是一種須同時兼具資訊技術與管理導向的工作，因而這些人員的生涯定位就更值得探討與研究。本研究以我國56位資管人員為樣本來探討其有無主要的生涯定位，不同的背景因素對生涯定位決定的影響，不同的工作設定對生涯定位有無影響，及生涯定位對工作滿意度的影響。結果發現國內MIS人員將挑戰性視為最重要的定位。而在樣本的背景資料中，我們發現性別、教育程度與在公司中的層級會影響樣本其主要生涯定位的選擇。男性人員比較多選擇生活性與服務性定位，女性人員則以自主性定位較多，程式設計師著重服務性與挑戰，分析師著重自主性。此外本研究亦發現自主性及生活性定位的員工，工作滿意程度較低，離職傾向較高，相反的採服務定位的人員則忠誠度、滿意度都高。
• 英文摘要： Building career orientation may help increase employee job satisfaction. Different careerorientatons also have important implications for job selection and commitment to an organiza-tion. The purpose of this study was to investigate Management Information System (MIS)employees’career orientations, as well as the corresponding relationship with demographiccharacteristics, job type, and career outcomes. Fifty-six MIS employees were surveyed; ourresults indicate that the challenge associated with a job is the most important concern of MISemployees. Men were mostly oriented toward lifestyle and management ideals, while womentended to be oriented toward ideals related to autonomy. Systems analysts also tended to beautonomy-oriented. In addition, we found that autonomy-oriented employees often have lowlevels of job satisfaction, whereas service-oriented people tend to have high levels of job satis-faction and loyalty.
