- 英文摘要: The electrocatalytic oxidation of benzyl alcohol was investigated on a nickel electrode in 1M KOH. The mechanisms of benzyl alcohol oxidation on the electrode were studied via cyclic voltammetry and polarization curves. The kinetic equations were derived and the kinetic parameters were obtained from a comparison of experimental results and the kinetic equations. These rate constants were determined from the current-potential curves and the kinetic model at various concentrations of benzyl alcohol. The kinetic parameters in the proposed kinetic model could be expressed as K/sub 1/(E)=4 .89*10/sup -7/exp(FE/RT)mol/sup -1/ dm/sup 3/, k/sub 3//sup (1/2)/K/sub 2/=2.22*10/sup -5/ dm/sup (3/2)/mol/sup (-1/2)/s/sup (-1/2)/, where E was the applied potential vs. Ag/AgCl.
