利用微生物體系篩選農藥的誘變性

利用Kada等人( )所發展的枯草桿菌(Bacillus subtilis)野生型系統H17(rec )及突變系統M45(rec-)為供試菌種之基因重組鑑定法和Ames氏 所發展的腸炎菌(Salmonella typhimurium)的突變系統TA 100及TA 98為供試菌種之回復突變鑑定法來測定臺灣常用或新引進的五十八種農藥和一種農藥代謝物之誘變性,結果發現Daconil,TCMTB在基因重組鑑定法上表現出正反應,DBCP, TOK在同復突變鑑定法上表現出正反應,即這四種農藥具有誘致基因突變之性質。這些方法可以用於鑑定新引進農藥之誘變性,作為審核農藥登記合格與否之輔助依據。

A survey of 58 pesticides (including 18fungicides, 5 herbicides, 35 insecticides) and onepesticide metabolite was undertaken to deter-mine their capacity for inducing mutations inmicrobial systems. Two methods were used:(1)the rec-assay-a sensitive test using the H17 rec and M45 rec- strains of Bacillus substilis;and(2) the reversion assay-utilizing auxotrophicstrains of TA100 and TA98 of Salmonella typhi-murium. Results from the rec-assay indicate thatboth Daconil and TCMTB are mutagenic com-pounds:while results from the reversion assayindicate that both DBCP and TOK are alsomutagenic. Our work has demonstrated that these twomicrobial system can be used as a good methodfor screening the mutagenicity of newly im-ported pesticides. These assays could be rou-tinely run on any pesticide, and results used asadditional information for evaluation of poten-tial hazards prior to registration of the com-pound.
