- 中文摘要: 本研究報導台北都會區首次大尺度的能見度觀測結果。根據硃究顯示,平均小時能見度為8,650公尺,但能見度最佳會超過24,800公尺,也曾經差至2,020公尺(沈,1992)。不同的能見度判定法則會導致所獲得的能見度有相當大的差異,但能見度觀測目標物的數目則不重要。從積分散光儀和雷射氣膠微粒的併立採樣,顯示可用來研究即時監測大氣氣膠微粒所附著水份的問題。本研究建立了一個可估算台北都會區能見度的迥歸模式,此模式的估算值以台北機場觀測的能見度來進行評估,結果顯示估算值偏高,推論其原因或許是基於飛航安全考慮,機場觀測的能見度必需趨向於保守。
- 英文摘要: This work reports for the first time a large-scale visibility observation in the Taipei metropolitanarea. It was previously shown that the average hourly visibility was 8,605 m but that the visibility couldextend to more than 24,800 m or be as little as 2,020 m in that study (Shen, 1992). Different rules adoptedin visibility determination could lead to quite different visibility values The number of observation objectschosen for visibility determination was shown to be insignificant in this study. From the collocated operationof the Integrating Nephelometer and a laser aerosol spectrometer, the water adherring on the ambientaerosols could possibly be monitored in situ. A regression model is established in this work to estimatevisibility in the Taipei metropolitan area. These model estimates were evaluated with field data obtainedat the Taipei Airport The estimates were found to shift to greater values, which might have been dueto aviation safety considered by the airport observers.
