PVF2壓電換能器產生與接收單極性應力脈波研究

我們研製能產生與接收單極性應力脈波的PVF 壓電換能器。此換能器之背材與前端負載具有比PVF 壓電薄膜大的聲波阻抗以形成一聲波空腔,外加一斜波訊號,則直接產生的聲波與由PVF 兩面多次反射的聲波相合成而產生一單極性的脈波。文中討論了產生與接收單極脈波的原理與實驗方法。此法在直接量測聲波阻抗梯度上具可能之用途。

We have constructed a PVF transducer to generate and detect the short-duration unipolar stresspulses. The transducer is heavily backed and loaded using high acoustic impedance metals to form an a-coustic cavity. To excite the transducer by a pulse in the form of a ramp function, the superimposed pulsesof the direct transmitted pulse and the multi-reverberated pulses give rise to an unipolar pulse. Theoreticalprinciple and experimental method for generating and detecting the unipolar pulses are presented. Thismethod may have possible application to the direct measurement of acoustic impedance gradients.
