- 中文摘要: 本研究室發現自莢竹桃科(Apocynaceae)植物蘭嶼山馬茶(Tabernamontana dichotomaRoxb.)分離出之生物鹼Tabernamontanine(TAB),經以人鼻咽癌細胞培養法(KB cell culture)試驗,具有抗癌效果(ED50=0.98 mcg/ml),但對於移植於BDF1小鼠之P-388白血病(P-388Lymphocytic leukemia)則無效。 TAB對生活於高環境溫度之BALB/c小鼠具有減輕由於環境溫度昇高(Hyperthermia,HT)加諸於小鼠苦楚(如出汗、大量流口水、掙扎等,致使精神萎靡)之效用。此種由於環境溫度昇高加諸於小鼠之苦楚,可以肛門體溫(Body temperature change)表示之。經活組織切片檢查,發現未經注射TAB但經加溫處理之對照試驗組小鼠之腳掌汗腺、鼻端及頸部等小血管均顯示擴張現象,而經TAB處理之試驗組小鼠則無此現象。
- 英文摘要: The indole alkaloid tabernamontanine (TAB)was isolated from Tabernamontana dichotomaRoxb. (Apocynaceae). It exhibited cytotoxicityagainst human nasopharyngeal epidermoid carc-inoma (KB) in cell culture test (ED50=0.98 mcg/ml.) The alkaloid was inactive against P388lymphocytic leukemia in BDF1-mice. TAB exerted a protective effect againststress, expressed in terms of body temperaturechange, imposed on testing animal during wholebody hyperthermia treatment (WBH). Thesweating gland of the palms and arterioles ofthe neck and the nose tip of TAB pre-treatedanimal were not dialated by microscopic exami-nation as compared to the unmedicated yethyperthermically treated control animals.
