- 中文摘要: 夯實之目的為增加土壤之剪力強度、減少其壓縮性、控制其透水性及其他相關特性。控制夯實土瓖之工程特性係將夯實條件於規範中限制於某一範圍內而達到的。 由UU試驗所得之結果顯示夯實後紅土強度會因乾密度增加、含水量減少、或圍壓增加而增加。有效應力參數係由夯實試體於飽和壓密後,進行三軸不排水試驗並量測孔隙水壓而獲得,其結果顯示有效應力參數ψ'值在不同夯實條件下的變化不大;而有效應力參數c’卻是夯實紅土最初孔隙比及含水量之函數。夯實紅土飽和及壓密後之體積變化及破壞時之Skempton之A參數是依土瓖之最初飽和度、乾密度、及圍壓之不同而變化。在本研究中並導出控制土壤強度之預估方程式。
- 英文摘要: The purpose of compaction is to increase the shear strength of the soil mass, to reduce its com-pressibility and to control its permeability and related properties. Control of these engineering propertiesfor the soil is commonly achieved through compaction specifications which place limits on the acceptablevalues of initial compaction conditions. The results of as-compacted strength from UU tests show that an increase in strength results froman increase in density or a decrease in water content. Strength also increases with confining pressure.The effective shear strength parameters were evaluated for various compaction conditions through theperformance of saturated consolidated undrained triaxial tests with pore water pressure measurements.The results of the testing program show that the effective stress strength parameterψ' is relatively invariantfor the range of compaction conditions investigated.The effective stress strengh intercept c' was observedto be a function of the water content and the initial void ratio. The volumetric strain due to saturationand consolidation, and Skempton's A parameter at failure demonstrate dependency on initial degree ofsaturation, dry density, and confinement for this high plastic red soil. Statistical prediction models areformulated herein.
