- 中文摘要: A Mach-Zehnder interferometer technique was used to study the ignition processof a liquid fuel pool at a subflash temperature. A flame was formed in the middleof top plate of the test section as a heat energy source. With this experimentalset-up the ignition process is analyzed. The induced motion by Local Heatingproduces a vortex cell. Uniform Heating from above would not produce thisphenomenon. The vortex size depends on various fuel and igniter parameters.Attention of this study is also focused on these parameters. Experimental resultsand the dimensionless parameter groups-, , & , are presented.
