- 中文摘要: 本試驗選用四種不同之大麥品種?材料,盆栽播種後施以不同濃度之氯化鈉水溶液,俟幼苗達16天後,將植株採收, 分別測定乾物重、葉綠素含量、以及各種無機鹽類含量,同時並進行硝酸還原酵素之檢定,以探討鹽分對上述各種生理反應所造成之影響。 試驗結果顯示,大麥幼苗之生長受鹽分抑制之現象十分顯著。此外,植株葉片葉綠素含量亦直接受鹽分濃度之左右,鹽分處理同時也影響到幼苗體內各種無機離子之含量。一般說來,鉀離子、硝酸根離子、鈣離子、鎂離子等隨處理鹽分濃度之增加而遞減,而鈉離子與氯離子則相反,隨鹽分濃度增加而上升。鹽分同時也抑制幼苗葉片硝酸還原酵素之活性,上述之各種代謝反應除了受到鹽分之影響之外,在品種間也有顯著之差異性,所選用之四品種間其耐鹽害之程度各異,由本試驗結果可知,同一種作物其品種間耐鹽程度之高低,與其吸收鈉與氮離子之多少有關,而硝酸還原酵素活性似乎亦可用來作為作物品種間耐鹽程度之指標之一 。

- 英文關鍵字: Four barley (Horedeum vulgare L.) genotypes were grown under various NaCl stressed conditions. Sixteen-day-old seedlings were harvested for determination of dry matter, chlorophyll, and ionic composition. The relationship between seedling growth, chlorophyll content, ionic composition and NaCl stress intensities were evaluated. In vivo nitrate reductase activities of stressed seedling were also determined. Seedlings treated with NaCl demonstrated significant growth reduction. Moderate NaCl stress increased the chlorophyll content in seedling leaves, but severe NaCl stress resulted in a lower chlorophyll content than the control. Major ions in seedling tissue were also influenced by salt stress. The changes in ionic compositions were dependent upon the stress intensities and genotypes. The activity of nitrate reductase from seedling leaves was also inhibited by NaCl treatment. The data supports the hypothesis that comparative salt tolerance within a species is associated with the exclusion of sodium or chloride ion from a plant and also reveals that nitrate reductase activity might be considered as a stresstolerance index.
