颱風過境期間大尺度能量收支研究

本研究係使用華南地區與臺灣地區的地面與探空資料,分析1969年衛歐拉颱風過境期間,華南地區大尺度大氣動能與可用位能收支。所分析之時間,由颱風登陸前一天開始,共計四天,其中包括颱風的極盛期與消散期。動能及可用位能收支均使用奧拉(固定)參考系統與準拉格藍基(移動)參考系統分別予以計算並作比較。 研究結果顯示,颱風極盛期大尺度運動的動能發生顯著之虧損,而由次網格尺度所取得。由可用位能收支獲知,可用位能的變化主要受效率因子分佈的變化所影響,而不直接受溫度場的影響。衛歐拉颱風過境期間大尺度可用位能收支中,非絕熱加熱與直接熱環流對可用位能有正貢獻,而垂直溫度平流項則消耗可用位能。

Kinetic energy and available potentialenergy budgets are computed for the large-scaleatmospheric flow in the southeastern part ofContinental China during the passage of typ-hoon Viola, 1969. Computation, based on sur-face and rawinsonde data, is carried out for afour-day period starting from 27 July, one daybefore Viola's landfall on mainland China.Energy budgets are calculated both in Eulerian(fixed) and quasi-Lagrangian (moving) frames ofreference. Results are given for the typhoon'smature stage and decaying stage. Kinetic energy budget results indicate thatlarge-scale kinetic energy is lost to smallerscales during Viola's mature stage whereasduring its decaying stage, kinetic energy ex-change becomes very insignificant. Throughoutthe whole period under investigation, availablepotential energy results indicate that energygained due to diabatic heating and direct ther-mal circulation are balanced by a loss due tovertical temperature advection. This gives analmost equal amount of the local rate of changeof available potential energy and the change inavailable potential energy due to changes inefficiency factor.
