Deaction of zeolite catalysts, i.e. CuY, NiY and CaY is studied. Cra-
cking reaction of cumene is used as the testing reaction. For this reaction, the
activity of zeolites is in the order of CuY>NiY>>CaY. The low activity of CaY is
attributed to its low surface acidity. These zeolites deactivate differently during
the reaction. The activity of NiY decrease linearly with time in stream, and CuY
has the highest resistance to aging. When zeolites are mixed with a small amount
of iron powder, the catalyst deactivates intensively in the initial phase of reaction.
CuY losses 75% of its activity within 30 minutes after the reaction starts when
2.82% of iron powder was introduced. The effect of iron power on deactivation,
however, vanishes after the reaction proceeds for a certain long time. - 中文關鍵字: --
