- 英文摘要: In hypertension, increased peripheral resistance main-tains elevated levels of arterial blood pressure. The in-crease in peripheral ressitance results, in part, from abnor-mal constrictor and dilator responses and vascular re-modeling. In this review, we consider four cellular signal-ing pathways as possible explanations for these abnormalvascular responses: (1) augmented signaling via the epi-dermal growth factor receptor to cause remodeling of thecerebrovasculature; (2) reduced sphingolipid signalingleading to blunted vasodilation and increased smoothmuscle proliferation; (3) increased signaling via Rho/Rhokinase leading to enhanced vasoconstriction, and (4) a rel-ative state of microtubular depolymerization favoring va-soconstriction in hypertension. These novel cell signalingpathways provide new pharmacological targets to reducetotal peripheral vascular resistance in hypertension.
