在國內與STS 的相關研究中,如果從網路資料上的搜尋及官方補助案的比較,
均可以清楚地觀察出有兩個不同的學術陣營同時著力在這個議題上,其中一個是「科
學教育」(science education)領域所談論的STS,另一個則為「科學研究」(science studies)
領域所談論的STS。這兩個陣營所提的STS 究竟有什麼相同點或相異點?在歷史的發
展上,這兩種STS 真的沒有任何交集嗎?本文透過文獻分析的方式,分別探討科教STS
與科研STS 之間的同與不同,並透過部分關鍵人物的晤談,重新建構兩種STS 在台灣
發展的圖像。最後並透過此圖像的意涵以及目前國際科學教育研究的趨勢,期能建立
兩種STS 相互對話及滋養的基礎。 - 英文摘要:
When we searched the internet and surveyed STS funding data in Taiwan, we found that there
are two different academic groups paying attention to STS. One is from science education and the
other is from science studies. Do these two groups use the same meaning for STS or not? From a
historical perspective, are there any intersections that exist between them? Based on a deep and
careful literature analysis and interviews with key people, this article explores the relationship
between these two STS groups. Furthermore, we plan to rebuild a new developmental diagram
depicting STS researchers in Taiwan. With this approach a new trend was developed for international
science education researchers. It is hoped that this article will provide a good base from which these
two groups of researchers may better communicate with each other for the benefit of the science
