- 英文摘要:
The effect of thermal oxidation on the stress-relaxation of thermoplastic
rubber (TPR) and partially vulcanized TPR was investigated by continuous and
intermittent stress-relation measurements at elevated temperatures in air or in
nitrogen. It was found that chain-scission and cross-linking reactions occurred
simultaneously in air, and the relative importance of these reactions over the whole
period of stress-relaxation measurement was analyzed. From the experimental
data, the relative rates of stress relaxation were found to be in the order of
(1) partially vulcanized TPR containing residual peroxide, (2) partially vulcanized
TPR, and (3) TPR. The time elapsed to observe the “hardening” effect was in
reverse order. This rate was unchanged in intermittent stress relaxation measure-
ment in nitrogen because of the lack of oxidative reaction. - 中文關鍵字: --
