快速鑑定腸內桿菌之多管微量系統

我們研究室所設計的ERA-24E?鑑定腸內桿菌科菌種之微管多項試驗系統。本系統含有24種生化試驗,每一實驗操作 於塑膠盤中之個?微管,然後根據生化試驗正負反應結果的形式,計算出一個八位數的密碼,細菌的最後鑑定則依據針對 ERA-24E所設計的電腦密碼系統。藉著與傳統大管試驗相比較,來評估ERA-24E系統的有效性(生化試驗之一致性及 細菌鑑定的正確性)。在總共6,216個生化試驗中,兩系統之一致性達96. 6%;而在259個細菌中,正確性達96.5%,另 外3.1%屬於非常符合,即僅須一或兩個特性就可做正確鑑定。因此,ERA-24E系統?一種簡單且經濟的方法,能快速 且正確地鑑定出腸內桿菌,?臨床微生物檢驗室有效的鑑定工具。

ERA-24E is a new micro-tube, multi-test system designed by our laboratories for the identification of Enterobacteriaceae within 18-24 hours. It consists of 24 biochemical tests. Each test is in its own micro-tube in a polystyrene tray. Based on the pattern of positive and negative biochemical test results, an eight-digit octal code number is calculated. Bacterial identification is based on a computer-generated coding system. The effectiveness of the ERA-24E system was evaluated with respect to its agreement in biochemical tests and accuracy in bacterial identification by comparing it with the conventional macro-tube method. Of the 9,216 biochemical tests performed, there was 96.6% agreement between the ERA-24E and conventional systems. Of the 259 organisms tested, 96.5% were identified correctly l-y the ERA-24E system, and 3.1% were highly compatible, i.e. required one or two test(s) for differentiation. The ERA-24E system was found to be a simple, economic method for rapid, and accurate identification of the Enterobacteriaceae.
