• 英文摘要： The inhibitory effect of chelating agent on lead sulfide precipitation was studied in terms of lead concentration, type and concentration of chelating agent, solution pH, sulfide dosage, and reaction time. Theoretical distributions of various aqueous lead complex species were calculated based on the metal-ligand coordination theory. The presence of strong chelating agents, such as EDTA and NTA, severely inhibited the removal of lead from solutions by sulfide precipitation. Lead sulfide precipitates were found smaller with the presence of chelating agents, indicating that the presence of chelating agents not only influences the distribution of lead species, but also decreases the particle sizes of lead sulfide formed.
