- 中文摘要: 本文研究因風生成之水面堆高(風揚)及吹送流現象。在風筒水槽中測定各種風速作用下波浪上風速分佈剖面、吹送流、波浪以及水面堆高。風之切線應力經證實符合福祿相似律。水面堆高之斜率隨風之摩擦速度而增大,呈線性關係,但其增加率碎波前後不同。由水面堆高求出之風之切線應力大於風速剖面算出者。五種不同風速所引起之吹送流全斷面用染色劑測定,但其結果仍待有更多資料之分析,將於下次報告中提出。本試驗結果可推廣應用於實際海面,有助於海洋中結構物設計標高之選定及海水中熱污染及漂浮物傳輸現象之暸解。
- 英文摘要: The experiments of water surface set-up and drift current profiles have been made undervarious wind velocities. The measurements include the wind profile over the water waves,the drift current, the water waves, the water surface set-up, and the bottom friction. Onlythe results of the wind profile, the water waves, the drift currents and the surface set-up arepresented here. It is shown that the wind velocity profile above the critical layer follows the logarithmicdistribution. The relationship between the wind friction velocity, U, and the surface roughness,Z, show the same trend as Wu's (1968). The expression Z = 0.0062 (U2/g) is found closerto the measured data than the Charnock's expression The surface roughness of the windprofile is proportional to the wave height at high wind velocities. More data are required forthe better understanding of the general shape of the drift current profile. The dimensionlessparameter of the water surface set-up, h/F, is linearly increased with the wind frictionvelocity in two regions. The increasing rate at the low wind velocity is slightly larger thanthat at the high wind velocity. This is a joint research program with the University of Delaware, U. S. A., and theTaichung Harbour Bureau proposed for two years duration starting from August, 1975.
