- 中文摘要: A dielectric relaxation study on Ethanol-Nitrobenzene and Ethanol-Nitrotoluene binary mixtures has been carried out at 11 concentrations and four temperatures using Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR). The bilinear calibration method and Least Squares fit method have been used to obtain the static dielectric constant e0 , relaxation time .tau. , and dielectric constant at high frequency e.inf.. By using these parameters, the Kirkwood correlation factor, excess permittivity, excess inverse relaxation time and activation energy were calculated. The e0 values decreased with an increase in the % of ethanol in nitrobenzene whereas they initially decreased and then increased for the ethanol-nitrobenzene system. For both systems, the relaxation time initially decreased and then increased with an increase in the % of ethanol in the mixture. The values of the e0 and .tau. decreased with an increase in temperature.
