• 中文摘要： 本研究針對廿二個國家股市月報酬率進行一月效果及其他最優勢月份檢定，進而利用一月效果、其他最優勢月份及各月份之效率國家組成投資組合，觀察五種投資組合之績效，研究結果獲得如下結論： 1.在考慮匯率調整後，全期有十個國家股市的一月效果顯著，東南亞諸國仍持續有一月效果。 2.由月效果組成之投資組合、效率國家投資組合、綜合投資組合、均等平均投資組合及加權平均投資組合之績效比較，顯示月效果組合最佳，綜合組合次之，其他三種組合之績效相近似。
• 英文摘要： This paper attempts to observe the January effect of 22 international stock markets. Then it usesthe findings to form 5 kinds of international portfolio. Finally, this study compares the performance of5 portfolio. The results can be summarized as follows: 1. Considering the adjustment for exchange rate, there are 10 markets experience January effect. 2. Comparing the performance of monthly portfolio, efficient country portfolio, combined portfolio, equally weighted portfolio, and value weighted portfolio, this research finds that monthly portfolio performs the best, combined portfolio comes to the second place.
