• 英文摘要： In fermentation of Escherichia coli for the production of tryptophan, a ceramic membrane filter was used in conjunction with a fermentor in a perfusion operation. This cell-recycle bioreactor can reduce the level of inhibitory products, even when the inhibitory products are not identified. Cell concentration as well as tryptophan concentration were enhanced by this method. Fermentation behavior under different levels of dissolved oxygen was also investigated using this set-up.
