- 英文摘要: The reaction kinetics for the aryl benzoates substitution reaction of benzoyl chloride and phenols in a two-phase water/dichloromethane medium, using pyridine N- oxides (PNOs) as the inverse phase- transfer catalysts(IPTCs) were studied. The experimental results reveal that the order of catalytic activity is pyridine N- oxides>quaternary ammonium salts>tertiary amines. The effects of the different types of pyridine N-oxides on the overall reaction rate and the yield of the main product phenyl benzoate were investigated in detail. To evaluate the effects of the physical properties of solvent on the overall reaction rate, various polarity of organic solvents, including dichloromethane, hexane, toluene, chlorobenzene and benzene, were served as the organic medium in a two- phase reaction.
