- 中文摘要: 本研究探討紅檜與扁柏之酚類和過氧化同位酵素等化學性狀。主要重點在於研究此等化學性狀在兩種間之不同以及在種 內各族?間之變異,並根據化學性狀來初步探討常見之紅檜變異株是否可能?紅檜與扁柏之間自然雜交之結果。 1.用紙色層分析法研究四種不同植物部位之酚類發現兩種植物之不帶葉小枝之酚類組成差異很大。葉枝之酚類組成雖然也有不 同,但其差異程度比不帶葉小枝?小。木材之酚類組成並無顯著的差異。但樹皮之內皮(?皮部)的酚類組成在兩種間則有很大的不同。至於種內各族?間的變異,並未發現有依地理位置或海拔高度而呈一定趨勢之變異。 2.此兩種植物之葉枝的過氧化同位酵素有非常顯著的不同。此種不同顧然有助於種類之鑑定、並可以被應用在森林遺 傳方面之研究。 3.初步研究結果顯示紅檜變異株之酚類和過氧化同位酵素組成與正常之紅檜無異,因此本研究之結果並不支持紅檜變 異株是由紅檜與扁柏自然雜交而來之假說。 4.利用光譜分析和水解及鑑定其母體和醣類等方法對色層分析紙上六個含量較多的點加以分析,以採討其化學構造。
- 英文摘要: Paper chromatographic investigation of the phenolics of the four different plant parts of Taiwan Red Cypress and Taiwan Cypress indicates that there is noticeable difference between species in the phenolic compositions of the branches, leafy branches and inner bark. However, no apparent difference between species has been found in the phenolics of the wood. The variation of phenolic characters among populations within each species does not show any trend according to geographical or altitudinal difference. Six major spots in paper chromatograms have been distinguished by UV spectroscopy and/or acidic hydrolysis. The study on the peroxidase isozymes of the leafy branches shows that there is considerable difference between species. It is believed that peroxidase characters might be useful in forest genetic studies of these species. The result of a preliminary study indicates that the phenolics and peroxidase isozymes of the variants of Taiwan Red Cypress are basically the same as those of ordinary Taiwan Red Cypress. Therefore, this chemical evidence does not support the hypothesis that the variants of. Taiwan Red Cypress are the results of natural hybridization between Taiwan Red Cypress and Taiwan Cypress.
