- 中文摘要: A computer-oriented algebraic method for the design of controller for processeswith time delay is proposed. The method consists of the following steps: 1. Desired response is specified. The reference transfer function with thedesired response is obtained algebraically. 2. Expand the reference transfer function by continued fraction into the Cauersecond form. 3. Time lead and time delay are added to the controlled system as shown inFig. 2. 4. The configuration of the controller is specified. Taylor series expands thetransfer function with the addition of time lead. Matching the reference transferfunction with the actual transfer function with the addition time lead in Cauersecond form leads to algebraic equations which are then solved to obtain the para-meters of the controller. A first order system with time delay and conventional proportional-integral-derivative controller is chosen for illustration.
