在肉?之體重增加方面,飼料中添加2%國產天然沸石粉(Zeolite)在生長後
期較5%者為佳,故肉?之飼料中添加國產天然沸石粉之量以2%者較適宜。在試
管中,9 ml 之大腸桿菌(5.6 x /ml)或雛白痢菌(4.2 x )加 1gm 國產
天然沸石粉,於6小時內可將該細菌完全吸附,此說明國產天然沸石粉對大腸桿菌
及雛白痢菌之吸附作用。 - 英文摘要: Broiler were fed with 2%, 5% ofnative zeolite and 50 ppm aureomycin,respectively, On 21th, 31th and 41thdays old, these chickens were experi-mentely infected with E. coli and Sal.pullorum by drinking water. The mor-bidity of chicken with zeolite or aureo-mycin was significantly lower than thatof control chicken, the most effectiveration is chicken with 5% of zeolite.The result demonstrated that nativezeolite could be considered as a feedsupplement in replace of antibiotics forprophylasis of fowl bacterial diarrhea. The average body weight gain oflate growing period (5-8th wks old) ofbroiler with 2% zeolite is better thanthat of broiler with 5%, it seems 2%zeolite is the more suitable ration. Invitro, 9 ml of 5.6 x E. coli or Sal.pullorum mixed with 1 gm of nativezeolite, all bacteria were absorbedwithin 6 hrs. This result demonstratedthat the native zeolite has strong poweron absorption of E. coli and Sal.pullorum.
