- 英文摘要: The reduction of iron ore with coal was examined through thermogravimetry analysis under 1 atm nitrogen and 900.degree.C as well as chemical analysis. Experimental results indicated that fuel coal and Australia ore were the most reactive among the coals and ores tested, respectively. It was found that metallic iron could be extracted from sludges of blast furnace and/or basic oxygen furnace by carbothermic reduction. K/sub 2/CO/sub 3/, Na/sub 2/CO/sub 3/ and Li/sub 2/CO/sub 3/ were found to be good catalysts of the reduction and the order is K/sub 2/CO/sub 3/>Na/sub 2/CO/sub 3/>Li/sub 2/CO/ sub 3/. Addition of fluxes to the solid sample may impede the reduction.
