光學風速儀之設計

本文討論利用光波強度閃動,來測量沿徑平均側風速的原理與設計,本儀器的特點在測量線平均量,有效距離可達20公里,因儀器不需與所測介質直接接觸,可測得由於地形限制(如水面、山谷等)傳統儀器不易測得之風速。此儀器之另一特點為由於不需直接推動力,對線或面平均低風速之測量極為精確,此對氣象或空氣污染之研究,極具價值。

We describe a ground-based optical windsensor using line-of-sight scintillation techniques.This instrument can measure the path-averagedcrosswind up to 20 km. One of the advantagesof this sensor is that the sensor does notcontact to the medium to be measured. The-refore, this technique can be used to measurecrosswind at distant locations (e. g. above watersurface or valleys) which are unreachable fortradition sensors. Because this instrument doesnot require driving force during measurements,it can measure the low path-averaged (or area-averaged) wind to a great accuracy. These kindsof measurements have special interest for me-teorological or air-pollution study.
