素的中度缺乏,對攝食高脂肪,中量脂肪飼料的大白鼠其體內脂質代謝,是否具有不良之影響。剛斷乳的Wistar種幼鼠
30隻,先餵予無核黃素飼料一個月後,將其分為六組(每一組5隻),分別給予不同核黃素含量(每100g飼料含0.1或
0.3mg)及不同脂肪含量(佔總熱量的10%,25%及40%)的實驗飼料,以配對飼育(pair-feeding)的方式餵養五個星期
。最後一天斷頭取血及肝臟以做各種分析。結果顯示,核黃素不足組,其紅血球Glutathione reductase致活比係數顯著
地升高(P<0.05 ~ P<0.005)。在高脂肪且核黃素缺乏組,其食物利用效率較差,明顯的生長不良(P<0.05)和肝臟重
量(每100g體重)的增加(P<0.001)。且肝臟總脂質(P<0.025),三甘油酯(P<0.025),膽固醇(P<0.05)及脂質過氧
化物(P<0.025)含量皆比對照組顯著地升高。血清脂質在核黃素缺乏之各組有偏低的趨勢,但只在中量脂肪組,其血清

謝不正常。e - 英文摘要: Dietary riboflavin intake of the people in Taiwan has been inadequate, while the fat intake has beenincreasing remarkably in recent years. Therefore, the effects of a moderate riboflavin deficiency on lipidmetabolism in growing young rats fed diets containing 10, 25, or 40 percent calories of fat for 5 weekswere studied. The riboflavin deficiency status of the rats was certified by increased activity coefficientsof erythrocyte glutathione reductase. Serum total lipids and cholesterol levels were significantly lower(P < 0.05) in the medium fat-riboflavin deficient group. In the high fat-riboflavin deficient group, thegrowth and dietary intake were depressed and the liver weight/100 g body weight increased markedly (P< 0.001). The liver total lipids, triglycerides, cholesterol and lipid peroxides of the high fat-riboflavindeficient group showed significant increases (P < 0.025, P < 0.025, P < 0.05 and P < 0.025 respectively),as compared with the pair-fed control groups. However, the increases were not significant in the mediumfat and the low fat groups. The present study indicates that a high fat-riboflavin deficient diet wouldhave adverse effects on lipid metabolism.
