- 中文摘要: 本文乃關於複合層疊板之材料特徵值、自由邊界層應力特異性(stress singularity of free-edge),及邊界層熱應力(boundary-layer thermal stresses)之理論研究。有關求解之理論方程式,乃根據彈性力學理論與異向性材料中表面波之Stroh氏理論去求導。本文利用Muller氏數值法設計一套電腦程式對cross-ply與angle-ply兩種型態的層疊板,求出其材料特徵值與自由邊界應力特徵值,並且對cross-ply層疊板當其受熱時計算其邊界層熱應力之分佈。結果顯示自由邊界層應力特異性強度與相鄰兩層材料之性質及纖維夾角有關,而且以cross-ply層疊板之應力特異值最大。再者,對於承受熱應力之(90°/0°),層疊板其90°與0°夾層界面在靠近自由邊(free-edge)處產生很大之剪應力集中,而可能會由此產生脫層(delamination)現象。
- 英文摘要: This paper presents a theoretical study on the material eigenvalues, the stress singularity of free-edge,and the boundary-layer thermal stresses in laminated composites. Mathematical formulations are derivedbased on the classical theory of elasticity and Stroh's theory of surface waves in anisotropic materials.Numerical examples of materials eigenvalues and eigenvalues of free-edge stress are given for both cross-plyand angle-ply laminates of graphite composites and boundary-layer thermal stresses are given for cross-plylaminates. Numerical computations are completed by means of Muller's method and a computer program.It is shown that the singular strength of free-edge stress depends on the material properties of the two ad-jacent layers and the ply-orientations, and the cross-ply laminate has the strongest stress singularity. Alsofor (90°/0°) laminates subject to a uniform thermal loading there is a high interlaminar shear stress con-centration near the free-edge which may cause the delamination.
