- 英文摘要: Norepinephrine(NE)is a crucial neurotransmitter in-volved in autonomic regulation of blood pressure. Dopa-mine (β-hydroxylase(DBH), the norepinephrine trans-porter《NET),and the vesicular monoamine transportersubtype 2 catalyze intracellular NE biosynthesis, NEreuptake from the synapse, and vesicular transport, re-spectively. Genetic disorders in humans have been iden-tified that render DBH,and the NET dysfunctional andresult in cardiovascular and neurological abnormalities.Vesicular monoamine transporter subtype 2 (VMAT2)activity protects against neurotoxins, and reducedVMAT2 expression is implicated in drug addiction.Fur-ther investigation of the consequences of these geneticabnormalities has been achieved by the construction ofmice strains deficient in the genes encoding DBH,N ET,and VMAT2.
